"T-Bar" gets way up on his first pass of the weekend.
Bugorama Friday Night Test & Tune Action
Here is a preview of what you can expect this Saturday night, and Sunday, at Sacramento Raceway.
Perhaps the biggest VW drag race of the season is slated to take place this Saturday night, and Sunday, at the Sacramento Raceway, for the annual Bugorama. Tonight, we saw just a taste of what is expect this weekend. For Super Gas, Tony Klink came off the trailer with a 10.82. Kris Lauffer unloaded a stout 9.08 in the nitrous-injected Notchback, called "The Black Car." So for now, here are a handful of photos taken this evening, under warm, clear skies. See you all this weekend!
11.99 off the trailer
Lauffer ran 9.08 in B/Sedan trim. With the clutch set super soft, his next pass, was aborted when the engine would not turn over (starter problem?)
Tony came off the trailer with a 10.82... not bad!
Hobi's could not find second gear on his first passs of the weekend.
Plenty of bracket cars were on-hand for the big weekend.
