It has become an important part of the annual (VW) Classic. Starting during the first week in June, VW fans from all over the world merge together in southern California to enjoy not one weekend of VW fun, but now weeks of shows and parties. 2014 will go down in the VW history books as the year of change. The Classic event itself had to move to a new location, and a new date. The popular VW Toy and Literature show had to be cancelled, as well as Clyde Berg's Bowl-O-Rama on Saturday night. But there's a new addition to this family of events, El Prado Show & Shine. But for now, this past Wednesday evening, a select herd of VW goers from across the globe came over to enjoy the Kimball's hospitality. This idea started out years ago, when Rich wanted to say thanks to those who showed him so much friendship when he traveled to VW events in Europe. So, once again, Rich Kimball's house was the place to be for good food, adult beverages and tons of vintage Volkswagens.
