DKP's Ninth Annual Santa's Li'L Helper Cruise 2013
What a great way to enjoy a warm winter night than by donating a toy, and cruising in your classic VW!
With the closing of Nick's Burgers, the popular DKP car club had to find a new location for their month meeting, somewhere near the Fullerton/Anaheim area. So, a few members went out and found a suitable replacement, located just a few miles down the road from the original Nick's. Farmer Boys is located on Harbor Blvd, right next to Hillcrest Park in Fullerton. So to kick-off their new cruise night location, the DKP presented their ninth annual Santa's Li'L Helper Cruise, where owners of Classic VWs donated an unwrapped toy to charity, and then went on a cruise through Orange County, checking out the holiday Christmas light displays. With an unseasonably warm December night, everyone was out in their front yards, cheering on the lines of well over 120 VWs, cruising up and down the street. What a great way to kick-off the holiday season, but by driving your Volkswagen.
