Havana Rick's shares this huge parking lot with a number of store, and tonight, they roped off a special section for just Volkswagen parking. With temps in the high '70s, it was a great way to spend a Saturday night.

Last night as we hung out at Wizard's shop, we heard about another cruise that was to take place on Saturday night at the Publix Shopping Center near FIU. So without missing a beat, we cruised over to check out the action, and to try out some of Havana Rick's pulled pork sandwiches. Lots of early buses in this part of Florida, so tomorrow should be huge! Great weather on-tap for Sunday's show.
Roped off area was lifted for invited (VW) guest!
Havana Rick's own VW military Rat Rod.
Pulled pork came right off the grille.
We spent a good portion of Saturday afternoon shooting photos of this cool '67 Deluxe bus with even cooler Teardrop-style trailer.

REVIVED ROMETSCH
The July 2015 "Vintage Special" issue of Hot VWs magazine takes a close look at a very rare 1956 Rometsch Beeskow convertible, which Dave "Pip" Pipoly and Mike Davis painstakingly brought back to life at their "Compound' in southern California.
