Dust Bowl Jamboree Show 'n Swap
Organization: Several Clubs involved
Location: Buffalo Springs Lake (5 miles East of Lubbock, TX)
Description: There are several VW events held in Texas every year that are great fun for the whole family. The only problem is that Texas is a huge state and we know how often VWs break down. Therefore, several clubs in the North West Texas area got together and decided to form an event little closer to home. This is the flagship year of the Dust Bowl Jamboree Show 'n Swap!
This is an event to bring the VW obsession to the Texas Panhandle. There will be food vendors, camping, a swap meet, and a crowd chosen car show right off the water at Buffalo Springs Lake, 5 miles East of Lubbock, TX. On the evening of Friday the 2nd, there will be a cruise through Buddy Holly's old stomping grounds as part of the First Friday Art Trail. We look forward to seeing our fellow Vee-Dubbers there!
